North Centre Street Fire Under Investigation

A structure fire on North Centre Street in Cumberland is being investigated by the State Fire Marshal’s office. A fire at a vacant and abandoned duplex was discovered by a passerby. The fire, isolated to the front porch, was out on arrival by the Cumberland Fire Department.  Several people were seen on the front porch and loitering the property prior to the fire.
