National polling regarding leading Democrats for president in 2028 lists several familiar names, but Maryland Governor Wes Moore is not among them.  Although many political observers view Moore’s redistricting attempt as a prelude to a national run, Moore has repeatedly denied that and appears to have little traction nationally.  The website Race to the White House has polling that indicates 2024 nominee Kamala Harris as the frontrunner with 25% and California Governor Gavin Newsom at 16%.  Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro is 6th in the polling at 6%.   Governor Moore’s name did not appear, although sports commentator Stephen A. Smith polled at 2%.
