Two Arrested for CDS

On Tuesday, August 11, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. A free air sniff of the vehicle was conducted by a Cumberland Police Department K9 team. A positive indication from the drug detection K9 was observed and a probable cause search was conducted. A suspected crack cocaine pipe was located in the possession of Christine Carol Shanholtz. A suspected crack cocaine pipe was also located in the possession of Andrew Leslie Leese. Both Leese and Shanholtz were issued criminal citations and released.
