Disorderly Conduct on Baltimore Ave Leads to Arrest

On Sunday August 16, 2026 officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to Baltimore Ave. for an assault in progress. The alleged victim reported that Anthony Bascelli had been attempting to prevent them from leaving his vehicle. Bascelli was intoxicated and the alleged victim reported that he had grabbed the phone from their hand and assaulted them. Injuries were observed on the alleged victim’s person and an investigation was conducted. Bascelli was placed under arrest for the assault. Bascelli is currently waiting to be seen by a District Court Commissioner for initial appearance.
