Vicki Koch passed away at the age of 78

Vicki Twigg Koch, 78, of Cumberland, passed away Friday, July 24, 2026. Vicki was a graduate of Oldtown High School and Allegany College. She owned and operated Westmar Tours, as she was passionate about bringing tourism and businesses to Cumberland. She assisted with the Oldtown Museum and helped organize the Oldtown Heritage Days Festival. She was strongly affiliated with Oliver Grove Methodist Church, but also attended Central Assembly of God for a brief time. Born Oct. 4, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Roy M. and Marie Davis Twigg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald L. Koch; and brother, Larry Michael Twigg. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, at Oliver Grove United Methodist Church, 15500 Walnut Ridge Road SE, Oldtown, MD 21555.
