Caution Urged With Return to School

The Maryland Department of Transportation is reminding drivers to be on alert as school resumes.  Passing a stopped school bus will result in three points on the driver’s license plus a fine.  Flashing lights is a signal to stop at least 20 feet away.  Drivers should also be especially cautious in school zones and near bus stops, where children may be walking, biking or crossing streets before and after school.
