Lindy’s Restaurant Under New Management

Lindy’s Restaurant on Bedford Road is closed temporarily as the owners of the In Between Café at the Country Club Mall prepare to take over operations of the popular eatery.  Max Flanigan tells WCBC News that there will be a slight name change to the longtime favorite eatery…

“So we’re going to be doing In Between At Lindy’s. We really like the brand that we’ve built over the past, well it’s been over a year now that we’ve been in business and operation and Lindy’s has the following that its built up since ’56.”

Flanigan said that the current owners of Lindy’s are vital in the transition period…

“They are still in ownership of the restaurant. We are leasing it off of them. As far as our mall location, that’s going to be our commissary for our catering operation.”
The mall location will cease serving over the counter meals in mid-September, according to Flanigan.
