Main Street Program Offering Technology Assistant Grants

Small businesses located in the Cumberland Main Street District can apply for a new technology assistance grant. Small businesses open and operating since at least February 1^st, 2026, can apply at cumberlandmainstreet.org for a grant of up to $2,500.  Applications must be submitted by Tuesday, September 15^th at 4pm.  Main Street Manager Melinda Kelleher says the grant covers various forms of technology…

“Websites, social media, strategy on email marketing.  It can be used for some point of sale hardware items, and then once your application is approved, we’ll match you with a vendor, you know, that has the expertise for what you need, and then you’ll work with that vendor to get the work done, and then we pay the vendor directly.”
