WV Lays Out Data Center Impact Numbers

West Virginia Treasurer Larry Pack has released a report detailing the proposed tax impact from two data center projects in the state. The Penzance Management center in Falling Waters and the Google project in Buffalo feature in the report that shows the state could see more than $100 million annually in tax income. Pack said community buy-in is crucial to the projects and showing the economic impact on local governments, schools, and a further reduction of personal income tax is important information for communities to have.
