More Than Whiskey At The Whiskey Rebellion

Friday’s upcoming Whiskey Rebellion event at the Allegany Museum offers a rich taste of history, looking back at George Washington’s last appearance in Cumberland to put down an uprising. The evening features many activities and those attending do not have to like whiskey, according to Museum President Vic Rezendez…
“There’s cordials, there’s gin, there’s bourbon, there’s a number of various things. Plus, we have an open bar for beer and wine, cigars. Sara Carman has food – everything from smoked salmon to barbecued pork. Plus we have about 20, 30 re-enactors will be there.”
