More Transportation for Messiah Students Secured

An on-air conversation between WCBC’s Dave Norman and administrator Dan Thompson of Messiah Christian Academy may have led to a new van for the school.  Thompson tells WCBC that he is not fully aware of how they knew of the need, but the Potomac Valley Transit Authority contacted him with good news…

“About a week and a half ago, they called us and said we had a board meeting and we voted to donate a 25-passenger transport van to you.”

Thompson tells WCBC money is needed for a wrap and some bodywork, but the van is already in use…

“We started using it last Friday. We were able to use the other transport van that we have – it went off to a volleyball game and I used this one to transport kids to Romney with.”
