WMSR Offers Transportation for RailFest Weekend

RailFest happens this Saturday and Sunday at the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad Station.  Activities start at 10am with the railroad offering various excursions.  The Ridgeley Rocket will depart the Ridgeley Yard both days for a trip across the Potomac River.  Helmstetter’s Highball will also have Saturday and Sunday trips.  Operations Manager TJ Abe told WCBC News that a shuttle will offer transportation…

“Every twenty minutes or so, it’ll be making a lap.  It’ll pick people up at the parking garage over off of George Street.  It’s gonna stop at the station.  It will stop over in Ridgeley, and it will also stop along Baltimore Street for anybody who wants to stop and shop on their way back to their vehicles.”
