ACM Campaign To Span Five Years

Allegany College of Maryland is hoping to raise $65 million dollars over the next five years for its Cumberland and Bedford locations. The goal was chosen to match the number of years the college has been in operation. President David Jones was a guest on WCBC and shared how the money raised will be used…
“Our primary focus areas would include scholarships, facility enhancements to our campuses, workforce development opportunities and new programs, direct support to our students, and athletics. They’re the six primary goals of the campaign.”
Campaign Chair Kim Leonard sees the effort as securing ACM’s future…
“We are doing this campaign to try and alleviate this issue for the future as we move forward. It’s really the only way that we continue to call it our community college.”
