New Mortgage Program for First Responders and Teachers Homebuyers

Governor Wes Moore announced a new program during his “Delivering for Maryland” tour that assists first responders and teachers buying their first home.  The First Home for First Responders and Teachers mortgage plan through the Maryland Mortgage Program is now accepting applications.  In a social media post, Governor Moore says the program offers more competitive interest rates and options for that first home purchase…

“Eligible, first-time homebuyers who are educators, police officers, firefighters, EMTs or paramedics can receive an MMP mortgage rate that is half a percentage lower than the rate on our existing first-time advantage 5% product.”
