Oakland Man Arrested on First and Second-Degree Assault

On September 14, 2026, deputies responded to Mews Crescent Court for an assault. As a result of the investigation, deputies obtained an arrest warrant charging Jeremy Ray Guthrie, 39 years old, Oakland, with 2 counts of First-Degree Assault and 2 counts of Second-Degree Assault. On September 15, 2026, Guthrie was arrested on the strength of the Arrest Warrant. Guthrie was transported to the Garrett County Detention Center, where he is currently being held without bond.
