West Virginia Breaking Tourism Records

Speaking before hundreds of tourism champions, hospitality leaders, and small business owners at the annual Governor’s Conference on Tourism, state officials announced Monday that West Virginia’s tourism economy has officially reached record levels. “We just spent last year $6.8 billion dollars in tourism right here in West Virginia. When I say “we,” I’m talking about the 78 million people who come in. It means a lot. That’s a lot of new money that’s going into our local economies.”
