Criminal Summons Theft

On Tuesday, September 22, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Trevon Marcel Emerson in connection with a theft investigation. The charges stem from an incident on September 17th,2026 when officers responded to a business on Queen City Drive for a reported theft. The victim reported to the investigating officer that while he was inside the business, someone stole his electric bicycle, which he had parked outside. During a separate incident, Emerson was to be found in possession of the electric bicycle. The investigating officer subsequently filed an application for charges through the Allegany County District Court Commissioner’s Office, which resulted in a criminal summons being issued. Emerson signed for and received a copy of the summons.
