Give Like Dolly Day This Friday

The Imagination Library of Allegany County is part of Give Like Dolly Day this Friday. Individuals, groups, and businesses are invited to support local Imagination Library programs that help young readers. Dolly Parton established the program in 1995. Michelle Walker says donations can be made through the Potomac Highlands United Way at potomacuw.org. Already over 1,000 children in the area benefit from the program…

“Just to increase awareness that the program is available. And for those who may not be familiar, this program provides age-appropriate books to every child in Allegany County who is registered from birth to their fifth birthday at no cost to the family.”
