Cox Reacts To Executive Order

Dan Cox, the Republican candidate for Maryland governor, reacted to the executive order signed Wednesday by Governor Moore on controlling the growth of data centers in the state. Talking with WBFF, Cox said Moore is gaslighting voters who may think their local governments have a say on data center locations because of a task force set up for site recommendations…

“The task force gives him the authority to review all the data centers, not the localities. He claims that he wants to give localities authority, but at the end of the day it’s the governor once again holding to his chest the opportunities to review these issues and decide who gets to have the permits and who doesn’t.”
