World Class Prog Rock comes to Cumberland

Iconic Prog rock artist Joe Deninzon of Stratospheerius, a New York-based band prepares for their first performance in Western Maryland this Saturday…

“It’s our first time playing in Cumberland, so we’re really excited. I hope people come out to check out the music. I also want to mention that we’re playing alongside We Came From Space, a band out of Pittsburgh.”

 

Deninzon told WCBC News that they will be performing several selections from their album Imposter! and offered some insight into the song “Outrage Olympics.”

“That’s me criticizing cancel culture on all sides of the spectrum. There is a lot of social commentary on the album, along with some personal themes. I like to be cryptic in my messaging and let people interpret it for themselves.”

Tickets for Saturday’s performance in downtown Cumberland are $30. They can be purchased online at StratosBand.com or locally at Loft129.
