Arrest Warrant for Matthew Glenn Emerick

On September 24th, 2026, officers on routine patrol observed Matthew Glenn Emerick who was known to have two active arrest warrants. As a Cumberland Police officer attempted to make contact with Emerick, he fled on foot. After a brief foot pursuit, officers apprehended Emerick and took him into custody. During the arrest, officers located suspected drug paraphernalia in Emerick’s possession. In addition to the existing warrants, Emerick was charged with resisting arrest, CDS Possession of Paraphernalia and obstructing & hindering. Emerick is currently being held at the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.
