On Sunday, September 27, 2026, Cumberland Police Department Officers served a criminal summons on Katelin Moorehead. The summons was issued after Moorehead was observed trespassing in the area of Canal Street on September 20, 2026. She was served with the summons and released pending her trial.

Summons Served
On Sunday, September 27, 2026, Cumberland Police Department Officers served a criminal summons on Chelsea Hartman. The summons was issued after Hartman caused damage to a hotel room in the downtown area on August 28, 2026. After the investigation was completed, an application for charges was submitted, resulting in the summons. She was served with the summons and released pending her trial.

Adult Arrests
On Sunday, September 27, 2026, Cumberland Police Department Officers responded to a building in the double-digit block of Queen City Pavement for the report of a disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers identified two individuals trespassing on private property. As a result, Steven Rosier and Araya Plauger were placed under arrest. A search of both Rosier and Plauger yielded controlled dangerous substances and associated paraphernalia. Rosier and Plauger were transported to police headquarters where they were later released on criminal citations pending their trials.

Arrest Warrants Served
On Sunday, September 27, 2026, Cumberland Police Department Officers served two arrest warrants on Kyler Thornton. The warrants were issued due to Thornton failing to appear in court on September 23, 2026, in an assault case, as well as Thornton failing to comply with the terms of her probation set in a separate Resisting/Interfering with an arrest case. Thornton was located and arrested. She was transported to the Allegany County Detention Center, where she is held without bond pending her trial.

Adult Arrests
On Sunday, September 27, 2026, Cumberland Police Department Officers were conducting foot patrols in the area of Offutt Street when they located two individuals trespassing on private property. Shawn Judy and Joseph Turner were subsequently placed under arrest. They were both transported to police headquarters, where they were later released on criminal citations pending their trials.
