Morrisey Celebrates Toyota Plant

Governor Patrick Morrisey joined Toyota officials and community leaders celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Toyota Motors West Virginia plant in Buffalo.  Toyota broke ground on the facility in 1996 and has invested $3.3 billion in the operation that employs more than 2,000 workers. The plant is undergoing its 12th expansion as it prepares to produce a sixth-generation hybrid transaxle.  Morrisey praised Toyota’s three-decade partnership with West Virginia, calling it an example of long-term economic development and job creation in the state.
