Casino Tax Revenue Down For September

Casino gaming contributions to the state in the form of tax revenue for September was down point-one percent for September. The six Maryland casinos combined to add just over $65 million in taxes with $47.6 million going to the Education Trust Fund. The casinos generated $151 million for the month with MFM National Harbor leading the way with $63.8 million. Allegany County’s Rocky Gap Casino generated $4.6 million dollars in September.
