West Virginia’s Trout season has begun, and Governor Patrick Morrisey announced the Governor’s Fishing Contest.  Through Friday, October 30th, the Department of National Resources will be stocking waters statewide, with some trout specially tagged.  Governor Patrick Morrisey says individuals who catch a tagged fish may receive a prize…

“The West Virginia DNR wills stock about 40,000 trout across nearly 40 lakes, rivers, and streams throughout the state. Keep an eye out for specially tagged fish as part of the Governor’s Fishing Contest.  You could win a lifetime fishing license.”
