Lonaconing Assures Safety for Trick or Treat

Lonaconing Mayor Jack Coburn was recently on the Dave Norman Morning Show asking residents of the town who plan to participate in Halloween Trick or Treating on October 31^st to be sure to leave their front porch lights on.  He says that safety will be a priority for those walking Main Street from 5:30 to 7:30pm…

“It should be well lit on the Main Street area with the fire company engine lights on, and we always get a lot of help from the State Police and the Sheriff’s Department as far as keeping control of the streets and making sure the speeders are under control and the Allegany Fire Police come out and also assist.”
