Councilman Wants to Bring Fall Fest to Cumberland

Councilman Brian Lepley recently visited some out of state fall fests and says he would like to see something similar replicated next year in Cumberland.  Starting in January, the City Council plans to form a committee to begin brainstorming ideas for the event.  Lepley says he would like to see local businesses, breweries, and sponsors getting involved ahead of next fall…

“Businesses had mums, and they had different sculptures and stuff like this. All the restaurants were open and they had vendors and it was just a great community thing. There was bands and a beer garden and dancing and stuff like that and I thought this is something in Cumberland that we should take advantage of.”
