Fire Suppression Grants

The City of Cumberland is offering $150,000 in Fire Suppression Grants to install new sprinkler systems within the Sustainable Communities boundary.  Commercial properties or mixed-use buildings can apply for an award not to exceed $25,000 with a dollar-for-dollar cash match, according to Historic Preservation Planner Dawn Hein…

 

“It also can help with water meters, meter vault infrastructure components that are needed for a sprinkler system. Fire lines connecting to the water source items are included as eligible uses for the grant.”
