ACM Increasing Digital Opportunities

Over $250,000 in grants will help Allegany College of Maryland expand digital opportunities for students in the region. Three initiatives will improve mobile accessibility for deaf and hard of hearing students, provide smart classrooms, and upgrade technology for the Veterans Center. A series of classes on computers, online safety, understanding A-I, and avoiding scams will be available to residents in Maryland’s three westernmost counties. The college will also work with partners to build a foundation for more accessible technology.
