Mechanic Street CDS, False ID, Violation of Court Order Arrest

On Wednesday, October 28, 2026, an officer from the Cumberland Police Department stopped a vehicle on Mechanic Street. During that stop a backup officer arrived and observed Nathaniel Morgan in the passenger seat. Morgan initially lied about his identity but the officer was familiar with him from previous police contact. Morgan was found to be wanted on two Arrest Warrants. Morgan was arrested and CDS paraphernalia was located on him. Morgan was taken to the Allegany County Detention Center, where he was held without bond.
