Moore Understands the Assignment

Ahead of Tuesday’s midterm elections, Maryland Governor Wes Moore is touring the state for a last minute boost for Democratic candidates. The governor is concentrating his efforts in predominantly Republican areas of the state, namely Western Maryland and the Eastern Shore.  Moore says good candidates know the assignment of understanding good governing…

“The assignment is to do things like making sure that we can provide healthcare for people, the assignment is to make sure we can end child poverty, the assignment is to make sure we can raise wages. If you can do that, then I think you have really good candidates that just don’t have a chance to win, but a really good chance to make life better for the people in their states.”
