Maryland Historical Trust Awards Tax Credits For Projects

The Maryland Historical Trust has awarded two local preservation projects revitalization tax credits. The Historic Revitalization Tax Credit Program encourages private sector investment through state income tax credits in the rehabilitation and re-use of historic buildings. In Frostburg, Main on the ground floor and incorporate new apartment units in the upper two floors.  At the Castle in Mount Savage, project work will provide upgrades and structural repairs to return it to use as a bed and breakfast while incorporating new meeting space.
