New Gallery On Centre Street Opens

A new metal art gallery held its ribbon cutting Wednesday afternoon. The Frank Strunk III Gallery, located at 28 N. Centre Street in historic downtown Cumberland, features low-tech industrial and modern contemporary wall pieces and sculptures.  Artist and gallery owner Frank Strunk III spoke with WCBC News about opening his gallery in Cumberland to display his work. He described one of the pieces, titled “Imaginations of the Heart” …

“It’s just a kinetic scope sculpture so it’s got a steel, cold rolled steel in hammer formed outer structure and the inside is made of mechanical components.”

Gallery hours are open by appointment. For more information visit www.frankstrunk.com.
