Train Excursion for Symphony At FSU

The Western Maryland Scenic Railroad is working with Frostburg State University to provide a special excursion for “Shakespeare in Symphony” at FSU. A special excursion will carry passengers to Frostburg where a shuttle will transport them to the Pealer Performance Center for a performance by the Maryland Symphony Orchestra. Scenic Railroad Director Wes Heinz says the experience is special…
“We’ve got 20 seats left. This is an all-lounge car train. We’ll serve complimentary hors d’oeuvres and appetizers on the way up to Frostburg. We’ll leave Cumberland at 5:30 so we’re going to leave here in the dark. It’ll be very romantic; it will be a beautiful train.”
