ACA Health Plans See Increase in 2027

Healthcare plan costs are rising in every state and Maryland marketplace plans will be rising by over 14%. Last year the increase was 13%.  Vincent DeMarco of Maryland Healthcare for All said his group was disappointed over the increase and says the state must raise revenue to rein in increasing costs.  Larry Levitt with the Kaiser Foundation says voters are watching political candidates for their views…

“Healthcare and gas prices are the two household expenses that people are most worried about. So it’s not surprising that people want candidates to talk about healthcare costs. And it’s not just people getting coverage through the Affordable Care Act, it’s people in employer plans, that’s over 160 million people.”
