Listeners familiar with WCBC radio programs have become accustomed to the regular visits from David Stewart from Western Maryland AHEC. The show about state insurance programs has been on the air for almost ten years. According to Stewart, a new AHEC show, “Healthy Together,” will soon take to the airwaves…

“Our partners in that are Allegany and Garrett County Social Services, Allegany and Garrett County Health Department, Mountain Laurel Medical Center, Tri-State Community Health Center. And we provide a range of different services, not just healthcare. Access to food, access to mental health care, access to utility assistance and on and on and on.”
