Allegany Street CDS Arrest

On Tuesday February 17th, 2026 an officer with the Cumberland Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Allegany Street. The officer made contact with the driver and occupants of the vehicle. During the traffic stop, a police K-9 was deployed to conduct a free-air sniff of the vehicle’s exterior. The K-9 indicated the presence of CDS within the vehicle. A subsequent search resulted in officers locating controlled dangerous substance (CDS) related items, including suspected methamphetamine, suspected fentanyl, and other related paraphernalia.

The operator, Harley David Lloyd, was arrested and transported to the Allegany County Detention Center. He is currently awaiting a bond hearing before a District Court Commissioner.
