Alley To Be Named for Mark Manges Tonight

The Cumberland Mayor and City Council plans to proclaim an alley near Fort Hill High School after Mark Manges, one of the greatest athletes in city history and a star at the University of Maryland.  Manges returned to Cumberland and headed up the Stadium Improvement Committee.  The broad alley connects Greenway Avenue and Avondale Avenue.

The council will also hear the second and third readings of an ordinance on movie and television filming in the city.  The council also plans to reauthorize agreements for outside dining with several downtown businesses.
