ARC Funds for Will’s Mountain Masterplan

Regional funding for the Will’s Mountain State Park project was announced during a special progress briefing at the scenic overlook Thursday morning.  Maryland’s Secretary of Natural Resources, Josh Kurtz, says the funds will go toward planning stages…

“We’ve received a $500,000 grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission to do the park masterplan.  That plan is going to help us guide the future planning.  It’s going to really provide the next steps in the process.  We’ll help communities stay engaged in that process to ensure that we’re opening this park for everyone.”
