Arrest Warrant for Assault and Home Invasion

On Monday, July 6th, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Nathaniel Robert Younger, 20, of Cumberland MD. Younger was arrested on an active Arrest Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court for an incident that occurred on June 29th, at a residence in the 400 block of Warwick Ave. During that incident, it is alleged that Younger and another suspect unlawfully entered the victim’s home and assaulted them. The victim was transported to a nearby medical facility due to the extent of their injuries. Younger appeared before a District Court Commissioner and was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. He is currently being held without bond.
