Frederick Street Assault Arrest

On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, Cumberland Police Department Officers served an arrest warrant on Talon Swick for assault. The original incident was reported on August 23, 2026, when Officers responded to the 300 Block of Frederick Street for an assault. When they arrived, Officers observed the victim with head injuries, and the suspect, Swick, had fled the scene. The victim was transported to a regional medical center, where it was learned he had severe head trauma. Once the investigation was completed, an application for charges was submitted, yielding a warrant. Swick was located and placed under arrest. He was transported to the Allegany County Detention Center, where he is held without bond pending his trial.

CHARGES: Assault First Degree, Assault Second Degree.
