WV Man Arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol

On March 5, 2026, at approximately 6:30 p.m., deputies responded to the area of Garrett Highway and Silver Knob Road for a reported motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, deputies observed that a vehicle had exited the roadway, struck a utility pole, and became stuck in a ditch. As a result of the investigation Jonah David Adams, 22, of Aurora, West Virginia was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Additional related traffic charges.  Adams was transported to the Garrett County Detention Center, where he was later released on his own recognizance after appearing before a District Court Commissioner.
