Baltimore Street Malicious Destruction of Property and Burglary Arrest
On Thursday, February 5, 2026, beginning at 7:02 AM, the Cumberland Police Department received calls for multiple Baltimore Street businesses that had been damaged. During the investigation, police were able to develop and identify the suspect as James Langway. It was discovered that Langway had also illegally entered one of the businesses. Langway was located in the area of George Street and placed under arrest. He was transported to Central Booking and later seen by a District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing. Langway was held on a temporary commitment-recalcitrant.
