Bench Warrant Served

On Thursday, July 30th, 2026, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Mikia Corinne Meade, 26, of Cumberland MD. Meade was arrested on three active Bench Warrants, all issued by both the Allegany County District and Circuit Courts. On May 20th, 2026, a Circuit Court Bench Warrant was issued alleging Meade violated the terms of pre-trial release related to a home invasion charge. On June 4th, 2026, a second Bench Warrant was issued when Meade failed to appear in District Court for a CDS paraphernalia charge. Lastly, on July 21st, 2026, a third Circuit Court Bench Warrant was issued when Meade also failed to appear in court on the home invasion charge. She appeared before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance where she was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. She is currently being held without bond.
