Bench Warrant Violation of Probation

On Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026, officers with the Cumberland Police Department served an active bench warrant on Trevon Marcel Emerson. Emerson was arrested on a bench warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court. The warrant alleges that he violated the terms and conditions of probation stemming from a previous conviction for assault second degree of a Department of Corrections Employee. Following the warrant service, Emerson appeared before an Allegany County District Court Commissioner for a bond hearing. He is currently being held at the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.
