Chris Myers

Chris Myers is the Morning Show Producer, Broadcaster, at WCBC Radio in Cumberland, Maryland. Myers handles various operational, engineering duties for the station and directs the morning news. In addition to his broadcasting role, Myers is a prominent downtown Cumberland businessman and an active community member who helps organize local events. Myers has been with the Cumberland Broadcasting Company, which operates WCBC, since August 2019 and began his career in radio broadcasting at the age of 14 as a board engineer for WQOL in Florida. In 1998 he was promoted to Chief Engineer for WTTB 1490AM and WGYL 93.7FM. In 2001 Treasure Coast broadcasters purchased additional stations WOSN, WPAW and WGNX.

On February 2nd, 2026 at approximately 11:55 p.m., an officer from the Cumberland Police Department was patrolling in the area of Virginia Avenue when they observed a wanted subject, Mikia Corrine Meade. The office contacted Meade and informed her of her warrant. She was subsequently placed under arrest for the warrant. A search was conducted of her person and CDS paraphernalia was located in her pocket. She was issued a citation for the paraphernalia and transported to Central Booking. She was later presented in front of a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.

Bench Warrant
On February 3rd, 2026 the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Johnna Maxine Buckley. The warrant was issued as a result of Buckley failing to appear for court on January 22nd, 2026 for original charges of CDS possession. Buckley was placed under arrest and transported to Central Booking. She was later presented before a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.

Bench Warrant
On February 3rd, 2026 the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Adam James Morgan. The warrant was issued as a result of Morgan failing to appear for court on February 2nd, 2026 for original charges of theft less than $100.00. Morgan was placed under arrest and transported to Central Booking. He was later presented before a District Court Commissioner and released after posting a $1,500 bail.

On February 3rd, 2026 the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on William Foster Younger Jr. The warrant was issued as a result of Younger failing to comply with terms of his probation. Younger was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to Central Booking. He was later presented before a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.
