Brown Joins Effort To Curb Dangerous Vape Products

Maryland’s Attorney General has joined a bipartisan effort in urging major credit card companies to prevent their pay networks from being used in sales of unlawful vaping products. The FDA has authorized only 41 e-cigarette products and only two flavors, meaning hundreds of vape products sold are unlawful. Payment processors play a major role in the sales transactions of these products and the coalition is asking for cooperation in preventing their services from being used in unlawful transactions.
