Capito Gets Funding for Fire Department Construction

West Virginia Senator Shelly Moore-Capito this week that she has secured funding through Congressionally Directed Spending for construction of a new fire department in Ridgeley.  An award of 2.8 million dollars will allow for Ridgeley Volunteer Fire to replace their current facility which is over 50 years old. Capito said the funding is one step in insuring adequate fire coverage for the areas of Ridgeley, Carpendale, and surrounding communities.
