Jim Zamagias has been with WCBC Radio since 1981. He has been a valuable member of the sports and news teams, even while completing his 45 year career as a teacher at Bishop Walsh. Now retired from teaching, Jim is the evening news voice for WCBC and occasionally hosts the Dave Norman Morning Show. His love of radio dates back to listening to Bob Prince and the Pittsburgh Pirates growing up.
The Allegany County Board of Education has its first announced candidate for this year’s election. Steven Jay Moon of Frostburg filed to run on Friday. February 24 is the deadline to file in Maryland.
