“Christmastime In Cumberland” Singer/Songwriter Passes Away

Roger Williamson has passed away at the age of 77.  He had been a resident at Allegany Nursing and Rehabilitation.  Williamson is best remembered by WCBC listeners as the writer and singer of “Christmastime In Cumberland,” a seasonal favorite at the radio station.  He had been preceded in death by his wife Debbie last summer. Inurnment will be private and held at a later date. Adams Family Funeral Home is assisting the family.
